This is the State Championship Tournament Leading to the National Championships of the USA-NKF National Karate-Do Federation, and Junior and Senior USA National Team Trials to be held in Grreenville, SC.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Traditional White Gi, Groin Cups and Mouth Pieces, Approved Hand and Shin Pads (additional equipment by approval)

CLASSIFICATIONS FOR DIVISIONS
Beginner 0-1 Year
Novice 1-2 Year
Intermediate 2-3 Year
Advanced over 3 Year

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: Mail Advanced Registration to: OR State Championship, PO Box 1267, Hillsboro, OR 97123

Tournament Entry Form/ Liability Waiver and Statement of Health must be completed and signed by you (if you are under 18, signed by your parent/ guardian also) in order to participate in this tournament.

Registration will be allowed on site beginning at 8:30am, or applications, with entry fees, should be mailed at least 7 days prior to the event.   It is the responsibility of each participant to be registered and ready for their event.  Preregistration is strongly suggested.

Contestants desiring confirmation that their entry has been received must submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with their application.

Send checks or money orders payable to USA-NKF.  All entries are non-refundable.

Legal age is as of July 1, 2011, regardless of the date of the event.   Time in training and Karate rank will be determined as of the date of the State Championships.

We reserve the right to combine divisions as we feel necessary.  If any person has concerns about their or their child’s division based on size of competitors or experience, they should withdraw their child or themselves from this event.
